As of 01 January, wpd windmanager has taken over the business division of Oltec Service GmbH located in Oldenburg. The operations manager, headquartered in Bremen, is thus further expanding its high-performance electrical engineering division and enlarging its range of services including all control systems and transmission technology of the Oldenburg-based company. „The requirements in the field of technical management are continuously growing,“ expresses Nils Brümmer, Managing Director at wpd windmanager. „With Oltec’s solutions, we can expand our service and now offer our customers even more extensive support for their turbines from a single source.“
Oltec with over 20 years of experience and know-how
For around 20 years, Oltec has already been developing systems and software to safely regulate and control wind energy and solar farms as well as substations and combined heat and power plants. „In the field of control technology and data transmission, we are gaining tremendous expertise. This enables us to support the entire wind farm connection – from the wind turbine through the substation to the energy supplier,“ says Oliver Klausch, Head of Technical Management.
By taking over the business unit, the wpd windmanager network grows by another location. „All our employees will be taken over by wpd windmanager. Our nine colleagues will continue to work from our office in Oldenburg,“ expresses Josef Marl, founder of Oltec Service GmbH. Moving to the new premises within Oldenburg is planned for the middle of this year.
With the new services, the customer group of wpd windmanager will also increase. In addition to wind farm operators and operating managers, as well energy suppliers, energy traders and wind farm developers rely on the solutions of Oltec.
