Lost in Samoa? Trainee day at windmanager!
In mid-October, it was once again Trainee Day at the Stephanitorsbollwerk in Bremen. All our windmanager trainees from Rostock, Erkelenz and Bremen came together at our headquarters to network with each other, exchange ideas and strengthen team spirit. Of course, our trainers Silvia, Jacqueline, Bettina and our HR manager Lea were also there.
As it was the first time in Bremen for some of the trainees, day 1 started with a tour of our main site, including a visit to our control room with exciting insights into the 24/7 monitoring of over 2,800 wind turbines worldwide. The windmanager trainees then rounded off the evening with schnitzel, nachos and cocktails by the river Weser.
The second day took our trainees to Bremerhaven to the Klimahaus on a “world tour” along the 8th degree of longitude. From the Sahara to the Antarctic, they experienced a lot. Among other things, Silvia got lost in Samoa. But the paradisiacal South Sea idyll with temperatures of around 30 degrees naturally also invites you to spend some time there.
Then it was time to meet the bosses. Over lunch, the trainees were able to get to know our managing directors personally and discuss a lot of private matters with them. Topics included social media use and successful YouTube streamers. Rumor has it that there was a bit of catching up to do.
And on the third day, we looked back on the trip and returned to our respective locations.
It was great to see you there! We are already looking forward to the next trainee day.
PS: Quick final question: What is the capital of Samoa actually called?
