Our projects
From Piteå to Taichung
In operations management, we take care of projects with a total capacity of over 6,5 gigawatts. And we do so worldwide. From our northernmost wind farm in Finnish Lapland to our southernmost project in the Chilean province of Malleco.
In addition to projects from the pipeline of wpd, we also take over the commercial and technical management of wind farms and solar plants of a large number of other investors, operators, municipal utilities and public funds.

Selected projects
Wind farm Lauterstein
The highest wind farm in our portfolio: The Lauterstein project is located in a forest in the Swabian Alb and comes to a total height of around 1,000 meters above sea level. Due to its special altitude, Lauterstein is also our reference site when it comes to ice detection. We have different ice detection systems in use here, which we evaluate to draw conclusions for our entire portfolio.
Wind farm Kuolavaara-Keulakkopää
Our wind farm with the most extreme weather conditions is located in Finnish Lapland. At the Kuolavaara-Keulakkopää wind farm, temperatures as low as minus 20 or 30 degrees Celsius are not uncommon.
For our field service colleagues, the inspection of the 17 Nordex N117 turbines with a total output of around 54 MW can become a real challenge. Often, the turbines can only be reached by snowmobile.
Malleco Wind Farm
The largest project under our operational management is located in Malleco in Chile. The wind farm was planned by wpd. With 77 Vestas V136 wind turbines, the Malleco wind farm has a total capacity of 277 megawatts.
About 50 kilometers from our office in Dubrovnik you can find the wind farm Ponikve – with 16 Enercon E70 turbines and 36.8 MW total output. The wind farm is located at an altitude of about 600 meters overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
From an operations management perspective, the bora downdrafts that occur here are of particular interest. These fast gusts of wind occur when cold air sweeps over the Dalmatian mountains and exchanges with the warm air over the Adriatic Sea. By the way, they are among the strongest winds in the world, with top speeds of up to 250 km/h.
Leadway wind farm
The Leadway wind farm can be found on Taiwan’s west coast and is our only almost offshore wind farm as the project was built in the middle of fish ponds.
The wind farm went into operation in 2021 and consists of 7 Vestas V117 turbines with a capacity of about 25 MW.
Lettweiler Höhe/Rehborn wind farm
Since July 2018, we have been managing the Lettweiler Höhe/Rehborn wind farm with 14 GE 2.5-120 turbines and a total output of 35 megawatts. In addition to the management of the wind farm, we also take over the commercial management of the infrastructure company including the substation Lettweiler Höhe for our customer CEZ here. We have been working with CEZ since 2016 and now manage a portfolio of over 110 MW for the international energy supplier.
In the Castilla y León region, the largest Spanish wind farm is under our operational management. With 14 Gamesa G 132 turbines, the El Poleo wind farm has a total capacity of 48.5 MW.
The wind farm is part of a Spanish 177 MW portfolio on the Torozos plateau – about half an hour from our office in Valladolid. We manage the portfolio for wpd and the Foresight Group. In addition to El Poleo, the portfolio also includes the Navillas, Corralnuevo and Las Panaderas wind farms. We also provide operational management for the substation.
Énergies des Forières wind farm
The wind farm Énergies des Forières is located in the French Normandy in the municipality of Criel and is part of a French onshore portfolio with 88 MW, which we manage in cooperation with wpd invest GmbH.
From our offices in Arras and Vertou, we coordinate the technical and commercial management, while wpd invest acts as asset manager. The portfolio is very heterogeneous and includes turbine types from Enercon, Vestas, Nordex and Senvion.
